Analy teachers found ways to bring Black history into their classrooms. Profesora Patty Hurtado had her students study the impact and legacy of Afrolatinos, people of Black and Latine descent. Students were given creative freedom to share their learning in their own way. Some researched and wrote biographies, some created posters, and others made smash doodles.
