Best Buddies International is the largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical, and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Analy High School started its Best Buddies program last year. This year, we are collaborating with other Sonoma County High Schools to host a Best Buddies Prom at the Poppy Bank Epicenter, and we need your support.
This special event is designed to ensure that our youth living with special needs have the opportunity to enjoy a memorable prom experience. Many of these students cannot attend their school's regular prom due to the need for additional supervision and accommodations.
Best Buddies Prom attendees will enjoy music from DJ Danny D, who is guaranteed to keep the dance floor grooving. They will have catering from Victory House, two photo booths, and exclusive access to Chuck's Bowling, Sky Zone Trampoline Park, Game-On Arcade, and more. This event is open to all people ages 14 to 22 with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We need to raise $15,000 to rent the facility and provide access to all the fun activities so this night can be as fun and inclusive as possible.
