Academic Worldquest

Four student teams from Analy competed this Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Academic WorldQuest Competition. Academic WorldQuest is a national organization that "inspires high school students and teachers across the United States to embrace a culture of global engagement."

Two of our teams tied for second place in the competition, and one came in third, just one point behind the second-place teams. Above are our students who competed with their advisors, social science teachers Rachel Ambrose and John Grech.

Our students who competed and tied for second place are Nouval Akbar, Anthony Catlett, Samuel Jordan, Timur Wohl, Diego Rodriguez, Adrian Ruiz, Paul Koo, and Mari Kashiwagi. Those who placed third include Henry Larson, Jacob Howard, Paxton Jaenichen, and Mellisah Namuteb. Our last team, who did not place but are still champions in our hearts, include Mathieu Coutant, Jaime de Mingo, Keshi Mayer, and Kazhal Rabiei. Congratulations to all our students who challenged themselves and took advantage of the educational opportunities available. We are so proud of you!
