• Congratulations Jolene Johnson for being selected as the first-ever Sonoma County Arts Educator of the Year.

• Congratulations Alma Roman Diaz and Laurie Horner for being selected as the Rotary New Teacher of the Year and Innovative Teacher of the Year, respectively.

• Welcome, Alena Peterson, our new Analy Student Board Representative.

• Board President Julie Aiello and I will meet with Christy White on the 17th to learn more about the next steps in the non-action feasibility study regarding unification.

  • The Analy Main Building HVAC project remains on track to be completed this summer.

  • The Analy Small Gym, Cafeteria, Industrial Arts (woodshop), Main Gym, East Wing HVAC, and Roofing projects should be out of DSA by the end of next week (April 15-21)

  • The final construction documents for the new Analy CTE building will be presented to the Board in June. 

    • Construction on this project is on track to start in February or March of 2025.

  • Modernization projects across Analy are in design and should be presented during the second Board meeting in June.

  • The Laguna signage project is on track to be completed this summer.

• Consideration of Approval of Resolution #13.April.2023-2024 Designating May 15, 2024 West Sonoma County Union High School District Employee Appreciation Day

  • On May 15th, all district employees will be recognized with an appreciation lunch. The Analy Alumni Association graciously donated funds to support this effort.

• Consideration of Approval of Process for Selection of the Becky Hopper Award

  • The Board moved to stop giving this award.
