INTRADISTRICT TRANSFER STUDENTS
Students transferring from one school to another school within the same school district
The intra-district Open Enrollment Period will commence on the first day of each school year and end on October 31st of that school year. Prior to submitting an application for an intra-district transfer, each student and their parent/guardian must visit both the student’s school of residence and the student’s preferred school of enrollment. Visiting opportunities include school showcase nights, shadow dates or school tours. Once enrolled in a school through intra-district open enrollment, a student shall not be required to reapply for readmission as school capacity permits. As a parent or legal guardian, you have the right to request an interdistrict attendance agreement from your district of residence. Before applying for an interdistrict transfer, please reviewing the policies of your district of residence and the policies of the West Sonoma County Union High School District.
