We are excited about the start of the school year and welcoming your student to our El Molino Family. We would like to invite your student to Ninth Grade Orientation on our campus August 3, 4, and 5th. The orientation will obviously be much different than in years past. We will be dividing students into groups of ten and following all Sonoma County guidelines regarding health and safety around COVID. As such, your student must arrive wearing a mask and wear it for the duration of the orientation as well as agree to follow all health and safety protocols including social distancing while on our campus. The orientation will take place from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and will include campus tours, informational sessions on technology use as well as tips on how to start your high school career off on the right foot. Class pictures will also be taken at this time and chrome books and class schedules will be distributed.

In order for your student to receive the Chromebook and other school materials, families must complete the required registration paperwork.  This can be done on Aeries by using your “parent portal” account.   You will need to bring proof of completion to the pick-up day – either by screenshot or printing it.  Also, you will need to bring the completed student emergency card, Chromebook agreement, and food services agreement.  If you do not have access to a computer and printer, we will have a limited number of hard copies available during the pick-up days.  Your Aeries log-in information will be coming to you by mail this week. 

In order to maintain social distancing protocols we are asking that students attend the following sessions: 

Session 1 (last names A-G) - Monday August 3rd from 9:00 am -12:00 pm

A – D arrive in Student Parking Lot. 
E – G arrive in Staff Parking Lot. 

Session 2 (last names H-Pah) - Tuesday August 4th from 9:00 am -12:00 pm

H – L arrive in Student Parking Lot. 
M – Pah arrive in Staff Parking Lot.

Session 3 (last names Par-Z) - Wednesday August 5th from 9:00 am -12:00 pm

Par – S arrive in Student Parking Lot. 
T – Z arrive in Staff Parking Lot.

These sessions are not mandatory. If you do not feel comfortable attending an in person orientation, accommodations will be made and all information and materials distributed to you by other means.
