Good afternoon WSCUHSD families,
This is a reminder that beginning tomorrow, Monday, August 17, all students should begin logging onto their Google Classroom accounts for each of their classes following the Distance Learning Schedule. Teachers will connect with students through orientation videos and assignments that need to be completed each day.
Last Thursday and Friday, students should have completed assignments covering school expectations regarding health and safety, Google classroom, Zoom, Aeries, Naviance and school culture.
Beginning Monday, August 24, teachers will begin live instruction via Zoom following the Distance Learning Schedule. Students will need to log onto Zoom beginning August 24th and complete assignments via Google Classroom.
Why is WSCUHSD beginning school with a "soft start"?
Beginning the school year in measured steps allows the District to test the flow of work between students and teachers, identify anyone having technology or connectivity issues, and allow school sites to resolve these issues before we launch live lessons.
If you are having difficulty with internet access, please contact your school site. If you are having device and or email/Aeries access problems or other technology issues please email info@wscuhsd.org and someone in the technology department will get back to you.
We will be updating you after September 2 on the current health and safety protocols and our ability to offer a hybrid option of instruction for families. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
