Good evening WSCUHSD parents and students,

Welcome to the start of the 2020-21 school year.  We are beginning this very unusual school year with a "soft launch" that will allow us to work through any technology issues and ensure that we can connect with all students.  During these initial days of school, teachers are involved in intensive professional development that will enable us to provide a rigorous, quality distance learning program for all of our students.

August 13 & 14
All students should have received an email from their school that outlined the lessons that needed to be completed today and tomorrow of this week.  These lessons will cover

  • School Expectations
  • Health and Safety
  • Google classroom, Zoom and Aeries
  • Naviance and school culture

Students need to complete each of the lessons in order to be counted for attendance for each of these days.

August 17 - 21
Beginning on Monday, August 17th, students should begin logging onto their Google Classroom accounts for each of their classes following the Distance Learning Schedule.  Teachers will connect with students through orientation videos and assignments that need to be completed each day.  School sites will be sending out more specific information on the requirements for this week.

August 24
On Monday, August 24, teachers will begin live instruction via Zoom following the Distance Learning Schedule.. Students will need to log onto Zoom beginning this week and complete assignments via Google Classroom.
